Functional Dry Needling

Safe. Effective.

Dry needling is a technique physical therapists use (where allowed by state law) for the treatment of pain and movement impairments.   The technique uses a very thin “dry” needle, one without medication or injection, inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle or connective tissues. Dry needling can elicit a muscle's twitch response. The twitch response has a biochemical characteristic to it which likely affects the reaction of the muscle, symptoms and response of the tissue.
